Regenerative Hair Loss Treatment · quick answer

What regenerative hair loss treatment does, in one paragraph

Regenerative hair loss treatment is a series of scalp injections or needle-free infusions that deliver growth factors, exosomes, polynucleotides (PN) or concentrated cells from your own blood to thinning areas. The aim is to improve the environment around weakened follicles, support the growth phase and reduce shedding. It is usually combined with medication rather than replacing it. At Ever Skin Clinic, a board-certified dermatologist chooses the ingredients and delivery method based on your diagnosis and stage of hair loss.

The treatment

What is regenerative hair loss treatment?

Regenerative treatment is an umbrella term for scalp therapies that use biological signals rather than drugs. Options at our clinic include PRP hair therapy from your own blood, M-Cure Cell, a concentrate prepared from your own blood in a closed system, exosome serums, and PN or peptide boosters that calm inflammation and support repair.

Evidence is strongest for PRP; exosomes and other boosters are newer and their long-term data is still developing. That is why we usually pair them with medical therapy for pattern hair loss.

Our regenerative options

  • PRP : concentrated platelets and growth factors from your blood
  • M-Cure Cell : a cell and growth factor concentrate from your own blood
  • Exosomes : delivered by injection or the needle-free CureJet system
  • PN and peptide boosters : support scalp repair and calm inflammation
  • Microneedling : sometimes used to help delivery across the scalp

Is it right for you?

Who is a good candidate?

Regenerative treatment suits men and women with early to moderate thinning whose follicles are still active, and people with temporary shedding after childbirth, illness or stress who want to support regrowth. It is also an option for patients who cannot or prefer not to take certain medications.

It is not designed for long-standing bald areas, and shedding with an internal cause such as iron or thyroid problems needs that cause treated as well.

It may suit you if you

  • Have a thinning crown, widening part or diffuse thinning
  • Are shedding after childbirth, illness or a stressful period
  • Want to strengthen results from minoxidil or finasteride
  • Prefer treatments based on your own blood
  • Want support before or after a hair transplant

Your visit

What happens during treatment

A session usually takes about 45 to 90 minutes, depending on whether a blood draw and processing are needed.

  1. Consultation A dermatologist examines your scalp, confirms the diagnosis and selects the ingredients and number of sessions.
  2. Preparation For PRP or M-Cure Cell, a small blood sample is drawn and processed; the scalp is cleansed and may be numbed.
  3. Delivery The solution is placed across thinning areas with fine injections, microneedling or a needle-free jet device.
  4. Aftercare We explain hair washing and activity advice and book the next session, usually about 4 weeks later.

Questions we hear every day

Regenerative Hair Loss Treatment FAQ

Does regenerative hair treatment hurt?

Scalp injections cause stinging, especially near the hairline. We use numbing, cooling or vibration and can choose needle-free delivery for some ingredients. Most patients find the session manageable, and tenderness usually settles within a day.

How many sessions do I need?

Many patients start with three to four sessions about four weeks apart, followed by maintenance every three to six months. Your dermatologist adjusts this based on your progress photos and response.

When will I see results?

Reduced shedding is often the first change, after one to two months. Thicker-looking hair usually takes about three to six months because new growth is slow. Results vary between individuals and are not guaranteed.

Can I stop medication if I have regenerative treatment?

For pattern hair loss, regenerative injections work best alongside medication, not instead of it. Stopping minoxidil or finasteride usually leads to renewed thinning. Discuss any change with your dermatologist first.

Can I have a session while travelling?

Yes. Downtime is short, so you can usually go sightseeing the same day. Avoid swimming, saunas and hair washing until the next day, and plan return visits or continued care at home with your dermatologist's written plan.
