Glowing Skin Treatments · quick answer
What glowing skin treatments do, in one paragraph
Glowing skin treatments aim for the dewy, smooth, well-hydrated look often called glass skin. They focus on hydration and surface quality: hydrating facials such as HydraFacial or Aqua Peel clear and refine the surface, and skin boosters deliver hyaluronic acid or regenerative ingredients into the skin for lasting moisture and texture. At Ever Skin Clinic, a board-certified dermatologist checks your skin barrier and concerns first, then chooses the gentlest combination that fits your skin and your schedule.

The treatment
What are glowing skin treatments?
Skin glows when its surface is smooth and well hydrated, so light reflects evenly. Dead cell build-up, a weak barrier and dehydration all make skin look flat. Glowing skin treatments therefore start with gentle resurfacing and then restore water and quality inside the skin.
A typical visit pairs a HydraFacial or Aqua Peel with a hydrating skin booster. If uneven tone, pigment or firmness are also concerns, our radiant skin programs add laser toning or lifting.
Treatments we use for glow
- HydraFacial or Aqua Peel for cleansing, gentle exfoliation and hydration
- Hyaluronic acid skin boosters for deep, lasting moisture
- Polynucleotide or exosome boosters for texture and barrier support
- Gentle laser toning if mild dullness or tone is a concern
- LED light to calm skin after treatment
Is it right for you?
Who is a good candidate?
Glowing skin treatments suit most skin types, including sensitive skin, and are popular before weddings, events and photoshoots. They are a gentle starting point if you have never had in-clinic treatments.
If you have active acne, eczema or rosacea, your dermatologist will treat the condition first, since inflammation limits glow and some steps may need adjusting.
Glowing skin treatments may suit you if you
- Have dry, dehydrated or dull-looking skin
- Notice rough texture or make-up sitting poorly
- Have an event coming up and want minimal downtime
- Want a gentle introduction to skin boosters
- Are visiting Seoul for a short time
Your visit
What happens during treatment
Most glow visits take 30 to 90 minutes depending on whether boosters are included.
- Skin check A board-certified dermatologist assesses hydration, texture and sensitivity and agrees the plan with you.
- Facial HydraFacial or Aqua Peel cleanses, exfoliates and hydrates the surface.
- Booster If planned, numbing cream is applied and a skin booster is placed in small injections.
- Soothe LED or a calming mask finishes the visit, followed by moisturiser and sunscreen.

Recovery, side effects and aftercare
Facials usually cause only mild pinkness for an hour or so. Skin boosters can leave small bumps, redness and occasional pinpoint bruises that usually settle within one to three days; plan boosters at least a few days before an important event.
Tell your dermatologist if you have active acne or a skin infection, cold sores, a fish allergy (relevant to some polynucleotide boosters), take blood thinners or isotretinoin, or are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Aftercare tips
- Avoid make-up on injected areas until the next day
- Use a gentle moisturiser and sunscreen daily
- Skip saunas and intense exercise for 1 to 2 days after boosters
- Avoid exfoliating acids and retinoids for a few days
- Drink water and limit alcohol to support hydration
Questions we hear every day
Glowing Skin Treatments FAQ
What is the quickest way to get glowing skin before an event?
A hydrating facial such as HydraFacial or Aqua Peel gives an instant fresher look with no downtime and can be done a day or two before an event. Skin boosters give longer-lasting glow but are best done at least one to two weeks ahead so any bumps settle.
How long does the glow last?
The glow from a facial typically lasts days to a couple of weeks. Skin boosters build over several weeks and can keep skin more hydrated for a few months, especially after a short course. Good skincare and sunscreen help results last.
Do skin boosters hurt?
Boosters involve small injections, so some discomfort is normal. Numbing cream is applied first, and some products contain a local anaesthetic. Most patients find it very tolerable.
Is this suitable for sensitive skin?
Usually, yes. We adjust the facial steps and choose calming boosters for sensitive skin. If you have rosacea or eczema, your dermatologist may treat those first and use gentler options.
Can I do this during a short trip to Seoul?
Yes. Facials have no downtime, and boosters typically need only one to three days for bumps to settle. Tell us your flight dates so we can time treatments comfortably.
