IV Therapy · quick answer
IV therapy at our clinic, in one paragraph
IV therapy delivers fluids, vitamins, minerals, amino acids or antioxidants directly into a vein through a drip. Because ingredients bypass the gut, blood levels rise quickly, which can help with dehydration and travel fatigue and may modestly support skin goals. It is not a substitute for diagnosis, diet or sleep. At Ever Skin Clinic in Apgujeong, a board-certified dermatologist reviews your health, medicines and goals first, then recommends a suitable formula, or advises against a drip if it will not help.

Overview
The drips we offer
Our drips fall into three broad groups. Skin-focused drips, such as glutathione IV and vitamin C drips, are used as optional antioxidant support alongside lasers and boosters. Hydration and vitamin drips help after long flights or a demanding schedule. Metabolic drips, sometimes called IV fat-dissolving therapy, support a diet and exercise plan but do not remove fat from any area.
Every formula is set by a doctor after reviewing your health. Effects vary between people and are generally modest, so we explain what a drip can and cannot do before you start.
Drips in this group
- Glutathione IV : antioxidant brightening support
- Vitamin C drip : high-dose vitamin C, with G6PD and kidney screening
- Snow White drip : glutathione and vitamin C combined
- Hydration and vitamin drips : for jet lag, fatigue and dehydration
- Metabolic support drip : alongside a weight-management plan
Who we help
Who IV therapy suits
IV therapy suits healthy adults who want hydration or recovery support during a busy trip, patients having skin treatments who want an optional brightening step, and people following a supervised weight-management plan. Many international patients book a drip on arrival or on a treatment day.
It is not suitable for everyone. Heart, kidney or liver disease, G6PD deficiency, pregnancy, some allergies and certain medicines can rule out specific formulas.
A drip may suit you if you
- Feel dehydrated or tired after a long flight
- Are having laser or brightening treatments
- Want optional antioxidant support for dull skin
- Are following a diet and exercise plan
- Have no conditions that rule out IV therapy
Your visit
How an IV visit works
Most visits take about an hour including consultation. Drips can be combined with other treatments on the same day.
- Consultation A board-certified dermatologist reviews your health, medicines, allergies and goals in English.
- Formula The doctor selects ingredients and doses for you, or recommends against a drip if it is not appropriate.
- Infusion A nurse places a fine cannula in your arm and the drip runs for about 30 to 60 minutes while you rest.
- Check-out We check you feel well and advise on any further sessions during your stay.

Our non-surgical results
This case shows filler dissolving combined with HIFU lifting. It is shown as an example of our non-surgical work and is not an IV therapy result; drips produce subtle changes that photos rarely capture.

Safety and side effects
Common effects are bruising, tenderness or mild swelling at the drip site, and occasionally lightheadedness, nausea or flushing. Rarely, allergic reactions or ingredient-specific problems can occur, which is why all drips are given under medical supervision.
Tell the medical team about allergies, medicines and supplements, pregnancy or breastfeeding, and any heart, kidney, liver or thyroid disease, diabetes or G6PD deficiency before treatment.
Aftercare tips
- Eat a light meal before your drip
- Press on the drip site for a few minutes afterwards
- Drink water for the rest of the day
- Keep the cannula site clean and dry for a few hours
- Contact the clinic if you develop a rash or feel unwell
Questions we hear every day
IV Therapy FAQ
Do I need a consultation before an IV drip?
Yes. A doctor reviews your health, medicines and allergies before any drip, and chooses the formula and dose. This is important for safety, because some ingredients are unsuitable for people with certain conditions.
Can IV therapy help with jet lag?
A hydration and vitamin drip may help some people feel refreshed after a long flight, mainly by correcting dehydration. It does not reset your body clock, so light exposure, sleep and fluids remain the most important steps.
Do skin drips really work?
Evidence for visible skin changes from drips is limited, and effects are subtle and temporary. We use them as optional support alongside sunscreen, skincare and treatments that act directly on the skin, such as lasers and boosters.
How often can I have a drip?
It depends on the formula and your health. Some visitors have a single drip during their stay, while others follow a short series. We avoid unnecessary repeat doses and review whether drips help you.
Can I combine a drip with other treatments?
Yes. Drips are often booked on the same day as laser, skin boosters or lifting. Tell us your schedule and we will plan the order of treatments.
