M-Cure Cell · quick answer

What M-Cure Cell is, in one paragraph

M-Cure Cell is an autologous regenerative injection: a sample of your own blood is processed in a closed, sterile kit to concentrate cells and growth factors, which are then injected into the scalp or skin. It is often described as a stem cell treatment because the concentrate contains blood-derived cells with regenerative signalling, and it aims to support thinning hair and skin repair. At Ever Skin Clinic, a board-certified dermatologist decides whether it suits you and how it fits with other treatment.

The treatment

What is M-Cure Cell?

M-Cure Cell is prepared from a larger blood sample than PRP and processed in an automated, closed system to collect a concentrate of cells and growth factors. Because it uses your own blood, there is no risk of rejection, and the closed system reduces contamination risk. It is regenerative medicine that is still being studied; it is not the same as laboratory-cultured stem cell therapy.

On the scalp, M-Cure Cell is part of our regenerative hair loss treatment. On the face it can support thin, tired skin, often alongside skin boosters.

Where M-Cure Cell is used

  • Scalp : support for thinning hair and shedding
  • Face : thin, crepey or tired-looking skin
  • Scars and texture : as part of a combined plan
  • With lifting or boosters : to support overall skin quality
  • With medication : for pattern hair loss

Is it right for you?

Who is a good candidate?

M-Cure Cell suits adults in good general health with early to moderate hair thinning, or skin that looks thin and tired, who prefer a treatment based on their own blood. Some patients choose it when they want a more concentrated option than standard PRP.

It is not suitable for everyone: blood disorders, active cancer and some medications rule it out, and your dermatologist will check this carefully.

M-Cure Cell may suit you if you

  • Have thinning hair and want a regenerative option from your own blood
  • Have tried PRP and want to discuss a different approach
  • Have thin, dull or crepey facial skin
  • Are in good general health with no blood disorders
  • Can allow time for blood processing during your visit

Recovery & safety

Recovery, side effects and safety

Expect tenderness, mild swelling, small bruises or pinpoint bleeding at the injection sites for one to three days, and a bruise where the blood was drawn. Some people feel tired or lightheaded after the blood draw. Infection is rare with closed-system preparation.

Tell your dermatologist if you have anaemia, a bleeding or platelet disorder, active or recent cancer, an active infection, take blood thinners or regular anti-inflammatory painkillers, or are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Aftercare tips

  • Eat and drink well before and after the blood draw
  • Avoid washing the hair or face with cleanser until the next day
  • Skip saunas, swimming and heavy exercise for about 24 hours
  • Avoid alcohol and anti-inflammatory painkillers for a few days unless prescribed
  • Continue any prescribed hair loss medication

Questions we hear every day

M-Cure Cell FAQ

Is M-Cure Cell a real stem cell treatment?

M-Cure Cell is a concentrate prepared from your own blood that contains cells and growth factors with regenerative signalling. It is not laboratory-grown stem cell therapy. Your dermatologist will explain what it contains and what the evidence shows.

How is M-Cure Cell different from PRP?

Both come from your own blood. PRP concentrates mainly platelets, while M-Cure Cell uses a larger sample and a closed processing system to collect a broader concentrate of cells and growth factors. The best choice depends on your goals and health.

How many sessions will I need?

Some patients have one session and others a short course. Results build gradually over months, and your dermatologist will suggest a plan and timing based on your response and other treatments.

Does it hurt?

There is a needle prick for the blood draw and stinging during the injections, which is reduced with numbing cream. Tenderness and small bruises usually settle within a few days.

Can I have M-Cure Cell while visiting Seoul?

Yes, but allow about two hours for the visit and avoid booking strenuous plans or long flights the same day. Mild swelling or bruising can last a few days, so schedule it early in your stay if you can.
