Skin Boosters and Regenerative Therapies · quick answer
What skin boosters do, in one paragraph
Skin boosters and regenerative therapies are injectable or microneedling-based treatments that improve skin quality rather than face shape. Depending on the product, they add hydration (hyaluronic acid, mesotherapy), support repair (Rejuran polynucleotides, PDRN, exosomes, PRP), reinforce the collagen framework (Laetigen, RE2O) or stimulate new collagen (diluted Radiesse). At Ever Skin Clinic in Apgujeong, a board-certified dermatologist examines your skin and recommends one booster or a combination, timed around your stay in Seoul.

What we offer
Skin boosters and regenerative treatments at Ever Skin Clinic
Each booster works through a different mechanism, so the best choice depends on what your skin needs. Our most requested option is Rejuran Healer, a polynucleotide booster for texture, fine lines and acne scars. Regenerative options such as exosome therapy and PRP are often paired with lasers to support recovery.
We also use other skin boosters, including salmon DNA, Filorga and Chanel Injection formulations, selected at consultation. Boosters improve skin quality; for volume or sagging, your dermatologist may add fillers, collagen stimulators or lifting.
Treatments in this category
- Rejuran Healer : polynucleotides for repair, texture and scars
- Exosome therapy and PRP : regenerative support, often with lasers
- Mesotherapy : hyaluronic acid and nutrients for hydration and glow
- Laetigen and RE2O : collagen-based boosters for thin or weakened skin
- Radiesse : diluted calcium hydroxylapatite to stimulate collagen and firmness
Choosing a booster
Which skin booster suits which concern?
As a rule of thumb, hydration-focused boosters suit dry, dull skin; repair-focused boosters suit thin, sensitised or scarred skin; and collagen stimulators suit early laxity and crepiness. Many patients benefit from combining two, or from adding a booster to a laser or lifting plan.
Your dermatologist will examine your skin, ask about your schedule and travel dates, and explain the options with realistic expectations.
A quick guide
- Dry, dull skin : mesotherapy or a hyaluronic acid booster
- Texture, fine lines, acne scars : Rejuran, often with resurfacing
- Post-laser redness or sensitivity : exosomes or PDRN
- Thin, crepey skin : Laetigen, RE2O or PRP
- Mild laxity on face or neck : diluted Radiesse

Real patient · before & after
Skin boosters as part of a full-face plan
This patient's plan combined lifting and contouring with Rejuran to improve skin texture, so the change shown reflects the whole program, not a skin booster alone.
Booster results are gradual and subtle. Ask us for cases specific to the booster you are considering at consultation.
Photos are shared with the patient's consent and are not retouched apart from privacy blurring. Results differ from person to person and are not guaranteed.

Recovery, side effects and safety
Small bumps, redness, mild swelling and occasional bruising are the most common effects and usually settle within one to three days. Infection, allergic reactions and lumps are uncommon but possible, which is why boosters should be performed by a doctor.
Tell your dermatologist about allergies (including fish allergy for Rejuran or PDRN), blood thinners or bleeding disorders, autoimmune conditions, active skin infection, and pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Aftercare tips
- Avoid make-up on treated skin for the rest of the day
- Skip saunas, hot baths and intense exercise for 2 to 3 days
- Limit alcohol for a couple of days
- Use a gentle moisturiser and daily sunscreen
- Avoid massaging the treated area unless advised
Questions we hear every day
Skin Boosters and Regenerative Therapies FAQ
What is the difference between a skin booster and a filler?
Fillers add volume to change contour, such as cheeks or lips. Skin boosters are spread thinly through the skin to improve its quality: hydration, texture, fine lines and elasticity. They are often combined when both volume and skin quality matter.
Which skin booster is best for me?
It depends on your main concern. Hydration boosters suit dry, dull skin, Rejuran and PDRN suit repair and scars, collagen boosters suit thin skin. Your dermatologist will examine your skin and explain which option, or combination, fits.
Do skin boosters hurt?
Most involve many small injections, so mild stinging is normal. Numbing cream is applied beforehand and some products contain lidocaine. Microneedling-based treatments feel like light scratching. Tell your dermatologist about your pain tolerance.
How long do skin booster results last?
Most boosters work best as a course of two to four sessions, with results building over several weeks and lasting a few months. Maintenance sessions keep the effect. Duration varies with the product, your skin and lifestyle.
Can I get skin boosters during a short trip to Seoul?
Yes. Downtime is usually one to three days of small bumps or redness. If a course is recommended, we can plan the first session early in your stay and suggest how to continue at home or on your next visit.
