Rejuran Healer · quick answer
What Rejuran Healer does, in one paragraph
Rejuran Healer is an injectable skin booster made of polynucleotides (PN), purified DNA fragments derived from salmon. Placed in tiny amounts across the face, it supports the skin's own repair processes, which can gradually improve texture, fine lines, hydration and the look of shallow acne scars. At Ever Skin Clinic in Apgujeong, a board-certified dermatologist assesses your skin first and plans the type of Rejuran and the number of sessions with you.

The treatment
What is Rejuran Healer?
Rejuran is a Korean skin booster developed by PharmaResearch. Its active ingredient, polynucleotide (PN), is a purified DNA fraction that has long been studied in wound healing. Rather than adding volume like a dermal filler, it works on skin quality: our dermatologists use it to help skin that looks tired, rough or thin regain a smoother, more even surface.
Because changes come from the skin's own renewal, results appear gradually over several weeks. Rejuran is often combined with lifting such as Ultherapy or Thermage when sagging and skin quality are both concerns.
The Rejuran family we use
- Rejuran Healer — the original full-face formula for texture, elasticity and fine lines.
- Rejuran HB — adds hyaluronic acid and a local anaesthetic for extra hydration and comfort.
- Rejuran S — a denser formula placed into depressed acne scars.
- Rejuran i — a finer formula for the thin skin under the eyes.
Is it right for you?
Who is a good candidate?
Rejuran suits people who want healthier-looking skin rather than a change in face shape. It is a common choice for patients with dull or dehydrated skin after travel, sun exposure or stress, and for those with early fine lines or enlarged pores.
For deeper rolling or boxcar scars, your dermatologist may pair Rejuran S with subcision or microneedling.
Rejuran may help if you want to
- Improve rough skin texture and uneven tone
- Soften fine lines and early signs of ageing
- Restore hydration to dry or sensitised skin
- Refine enlarged pores and shallow acne scars
- Strengthen a weakened skin barrier
Your visit
What happens during treatment
A full-face session usually takes about an hour in clinic, including numbing time.
- Consultation A board-certified dermatologist examines your skin and agrees the formula, areas and number of sessions with you.
- Numbing Numbing cream is applied for about 30 to 40 minutes to keep the injections comfortable.
- Micro-injections Small amounts are placed evenly across the treatment area by hand or with a fine injector, taking about 15 to 20 minutes.
- Aftercare We soothe the skin, explain what to expect and schedule your next session if a course is planned.
Real patient · before & after
Skin quality as part of a full-face plan
This patient wanted a brighter, firmer and more even look. Her plan combined lifting and contouring with Rejuran to improve skin texture, so the change shown is the result of the whole program, not Rejuran alone.
We share it because many of our patients receive Rejuran alongside other treatments, and your dermatologist will explain which parts of a plan address which concern.
Photos are shared with the patient's consent and are not retouched apart from privacy blurring. Results differ from person to person and are not guaranteed.

Recovery, side effects and aftercare
Small raised bumps at the injection points are expected and usually flatten within one to three days. Redness, mild swelling and occasional bruising can also occur. Most patients return to work the next day.
Tell your dermatologist before treatment if you have a fish or salmon allergy, an active skin infection, an autoimmune condition, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. If anything feels unusual after treatment, message the clinic on WhatsApp so a doctor can review it.
Aftercare tips
- Avoid make-up on the treated area for the rest of the day
- Skip saunas, hot baths and intense exercise for 2 to 3 days
- Limit alcohol for a couple of days to reduce swelling
- Use a gentle moisturiser and daily sunscreen
- Avoid pressing or massaging the bumps
Questions we hear every day
Rejuran Healer FAQ
Does Rejuran Healer hurt?
Rejuran involves many small injections, so some discomfort is normal. Numbing cream is applied beforehand, and Rejuran HB contains a local anaesthetic for extra comfort. Let your dermatologist know about your pain tolerance so the session can be adjusted.
How many Rejuran sessions do I need?
Many patients start with a course of about three sessions spaced two to four weeks apart, followed by occasional maintenance. The right number depends on your skin condition and goals, which your dermatologist will assess at consultation.
When will I see results from Rejuran?
Some patients notice better hydration within a week or two, but the main improvement in texture and fine lines builds gradually over about four to six weeks as the skin renews. Results vary between individuals.
Is Rejuran the same as a filler?
No. Fillers add volume to change contour, while Rejuran is a skin booster that works on skin quality such as texture, fine lines and hydration. The two can be combined in one plan when both volume and skin quality are concerns.
Can I have Rejuran if I am visiting Seoul for a short trip?
Yes, many international patients have Rejuran during a visit because downtime is short. Plan for small bumps for one to three days, and if you want a full course, our team can help schedule sessions around your travel dates.
