Snow White Drip · quick answer

What the Snow White drip is, in one paragraph

The Snow White drip is a combined brightening IV infusion that typically contains glutathione and vitamin C with other antioxidants and fluids. Glutathione and vitamin C may each modestly reduce melanin formation and oxidative stress, so the drip is used to support a brighter, more even complexion. Evidence for visible effects is limited and results are subtle and temporary. At Ever Skin Clinic, a board-certified dermatologist screens your health first and uses the drip as an add-on to proven pigment treatments.

The treatment

What is the Snow White drip?

Snow White is a name commonly used in Korea for a combination brightening drip. Rather than one ingredient, it pairs antioxidants that work in related ways: glutathione is thought to shift melanin production towards lighter pigment, while vitamin C helps recycle glutathione and supports collagen formation.

Because the drip acts throughout the body, its effect on any one spot is small. For defined spots, melasma or post-acne marks, it is combined with targeted treatment such as laser toning, prescription creams and daily sunscreen.

What the Snow White drip can and cannot do

  • Can provide combined antioxidant support in one session
  • Can complement laser toning and brightening skincare
  • Cannot remove freckles, sun spots or melasma on its own
  • Cannot permanently lighten natural skin colour
  • Cannot replace sun protection

Is it right for you?

Who is a good candidate?

The drip suits healthy adults with dull or uneven skin who are following a dermatologist-led pigmentation plan and want an optional, no-downtime step. It is often booked on the same day as a laser session.

Because it contains vitamin C and glutathione, people with G6PD deficiency, kidney disease or stones, asthma, or allergies to the ingredients may not be suitable. Pregnant and breastfeeding patients should not have it.

The Snow White drip may suit you if you

  • Have dull skin or mild uneven tone
  • Are having laser toning or melasma treatment
  • Prefer one combined drip rather than separate infusions
  • Have no health conditions that rule out the ingredients
  • Understand that effects are modest and need maintenance

Recovery & safety

Side effects and safety

Most people have no problems beyond a small bruise or tenderness at the drip site. Some feel a cool sensation in the arm, thirst, lightheadedness, nausea or flushing. Rarely, rash or allergic reactions can occur, which is why the drip is given under medical supervision and with conservative doses.

Tell your dermatologist if you have G6PD deficiency, kidney disease or stones, asthma, diabetes requiring glucose-meter monitoring, a history of allergic reactions, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Aftercare tips

  • Eat a light meal before your drip
  • Drink water for the rest of the day
  • Press on the drip site for a few minutes to limit bruising
  • Use broad-spectrum sunscreen daily
  • Contact the clinic if you develop a rash or feel unwell

Questions we hear every day

Snow White Drip FAQ

What is in the Snow White drip?

It usually combines glutathione and vitamin C with other antioxidants and fluids. The exact formula and doses are chosen by your dermatologist after reviewing your health, so it may differ between patients.

Will it whiten my skin?

It may slightly support a brighter, more even tone, but evidence is limited and effects are subtle and temporary. It does not change your natural skin colour or remove distinct spots. Lasers, topicals and sunscreen provide the main improvement.

How many sessions do people have?

Patients who choose it often have drips weekly or every few weeks during a skin course, then occasional maintenance. We keep courses conservative and review whether it is helping.

Is it better than glutathione alone?

Combining glutathione with vitamin C is common because the two antioxidants work together, but there is no strong evidence that one drip is clearly superior. Your dermatologist will suggest the option that fits your health and plan.

Can I have it during a short visit?

Yes. There is no downtime, and it can be booked on the same day as a laser or booster. A single drip makes little visible difference, so we usually focus your short stay on treatments that act on the skin directly.
