Titanium Lifting · quick answer
What Titanium lifting does, in one paragraph
Titanium lifting is a non-surgical tightening treatment using a diode laser that combines three wavelengths (commonly 755, 810 and 1064 nm). Sliding over the skin, it gently heats the dermis and deeper supportive tissue, which can give an immediate smoother, tighter look and then gradual collagen remodelling. It suits mild laxity, soft jawlines and dull skin in people who want little downtime. At Ever Skin Clinic, a board-certified dermatologist maps lifting vectors and treats only where needed.

The treatment
What is Titanium lifting?
Titanium is sometimes mistaken for an RF device, but it is a diode laser. Its three wavelengths reach different depths, so one pass warms both the upper dermis, which helps tone and texture, and deeper tissue, which supports tightening. A sliding, cooled handpiece keeps the treatment comfortable, and many patients notice a smoother, more defined outline straight away, often described as an event-day lift.
Compared with focused ultrasound such as Ultherapy, the lift is gentler, but downtime and discomfort are low. For a detailed device-focused explanation, see our Titanium laser page.
How we use Titanium
- Vector-based design — energy concentrated along planned lifting lines rather than blanket passes
- Lower-face contour — softening jowl shadows and defining the jawline
- Skin tone — the warming effect can leave skin looking brighter and smoother
- Combination — often paired with HIFU, RF or skin boosters
- Before events — a low-downtime option ahead of important dates
Is it right for you?
Who is a good candidate?
Titanium suits people with early to mild laxity, facial puffiness or a slightly blurred jawline who want a natural refresh without needles or downtime. It is a common choice for patients new to lifting and for maintenance between stronger treatments.
For moderate to marked sagging, deeper devices or threads usually give more lift, and your dermatologist may combine them with Titanium. Very thin faces need careful settings to avoid looking gaunt.
Titanium may suit you if you want to
- Tighten mild sagging along the jaw and cheeks
- Look fresher before an event or trip
- Improve dull tone and texture at the same time
- Avoid injections and visible recovery
- Maintain results from HIFU or RF lifting

Recovery, side effects and aftercare
Most patients return to normal activities immediately. Warmth, mild redness or slight swelling may last a few hours. Uncommon effects include temporary dryness, small blisters or pigment changes if heat builds up in one spot, which careful technique and cooling help prevent.
Tell your dermatologist if you are pregnant, have a recent tan or sunburn, take photosensitising medicines, have an active skin infection, a history of keloids or pigment problems after lasers, or have had fillers or threads recently in the area.
Aftercare tips
- Moisturise well for a few days
- Apply sunscreen daily and avoid tanning
- Skip saunas and very hot baths for 1 to 2 days
- Avoid strong exfoliants or retinoids for a few days
- Book repeat sessions at the interval your dermatologist suggests
Questions we hear every day
Titanium Lifting FAQ
Is Titanium lifting painful?
Most patients feel warmth rather than pain, and the cooled handpiece keeps it comfortable, so numbing is not usually needed. Some areas over bone can feel hotter. Tell your dermatologist and the energy can be adjusted.
How long do Titanium results last?
The immediate smoothing is visible within days, and collagen-related firming builds over several weeks. Many patients repeat treatment every few months or combine it with HIFU or RF for longer-lasting results. Duration varies between individuals.
Is Titanium the same as RF or HIFU?
No. Titanium is a triple-wavelength diode laser that works by gentle heating. RF devices such as Thermage use radiofrequency, and HIFU devices such as Ultherapy use focused ultrasound at set depths. Each works differently and they can be combined.
Can I do Titanium before a flight or event?
Yes. There is usually no downtime, so it suits short trips and pre-event care. Mild redness typically settles within hours. Use sunscreen if you are travelling somewhere sunny.
How many sessions do I need?
Some patients notice a difference after one session; others prefer a short series for a more noticeable effect. Your dermatologist will suggest a plan based on your laxity and whether Titanium is used alone or with other devices.
