Skin Rejuvenation for Body · quick answer

What body skin rejuvenation covers, in one paragraph

Body skin rejuvenation is a group of treatments that improve the quality of skin on the body rather than its shape: stretch marks, scars, crepey or thin skin, rough texture and uneven tone on areas such as the abdomen, arms, thighs, decolletage and back. The main tools are fractional laser resurfacing, RF microneedling and injectable or applied regenerative boosters. At Ever Skin Clinic, a board-certified dermatologist examines the area and your skin type first, then recommends a single treatment or a combined course.

What we treat

Body skin concerns we treat

Body skin is thicker in some areas and thinner in others, heals more slowly than facial skin and is more prone to pigmentation after heat-based treatments. That is why settings, depth and spacing between sessions differ from facial protocols.

For marks and scars, we mainly use RF microneedling for stretch marks and fractional laser resurfacing. For thin, crepey skin, collagen stimulators such as Body Sculptra or boosters can improve firmness.

Common concerns

  • Stretch marks after pregnancy, growth or weight change
  • Surgical, acne and injury scars on the back, chest or limbs
  • Crepey skin on the arms, abdomen and above the knees
  • Rough texture and enlarged pores on the back or chest
  • Uneven tone and sun damage on the decolletage and arms

Who we help

Who body skin rejuvenation suits

It suits adults who are happy with their body shape but want smoother, firmer, more even skin, and who can commit to a course. If shape or fat is the main concern, see our body contouring options instead, or combine both.

It may suit you if you

  • Have stretch marks or scars you want to soften
  • Notice thinning or crepey skin with age or weight loss
  • Want to improve texture on the back, chest or arms
  • Are not pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Accept gradual, not instant, improvement

How a visit works

How a treatment visit works

Your first visit combines consultation and, if suitable, a first treatment the same day.

  1. Assessment A board-certified dermatologist examines the skin, your skin type and history of pigmentation or keloids.
  2. Plan We choose the treatment or combination and agree the number of sessions around your schedule.
  3. Treatment After numbing if needed, the laser, RF microneedling or booster session is performed, usually in under 90 minutes.
  4. Follow-up We explain aftercare and review progress at each visit, adjusting settings as the skin responds.

Practical info

Recovery, safety and aftercare

Expect redness, mild swelling and sometimes pinpoint scabbing after laser or microneedling, usually settling within two to five days. Booster injections can cause small bumps or bruises. Pigment changes are the main risk on body skin, especially in darker skin types or after sun exposure.

Tell your dermatologist if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have keloid tendency, active infection or eczema in the area, recent isotretinoin use, or a pacemaker or metal implant near the area.

Aftercare tips

  • Keep treated skin covered and protected from the sun
  • Avoid saunas, pools and hot springs for a few days
  • Use gentle, fragrance-free moisturiser
  • Avoid scrubs, acids and tight rubbing clothes for a week
  • Contact the clinic if redness or crusting worsens

Questions we hear every day

Skin Rejuvenation for Body FAQ

Which treatment is best for my body skin?

It depends on the concern. Stretch marks and scars usually respond to RF microneedling or fractional laser, while crepey skin may need collagen stimulation. Your dermatologist will examine the area and suggest one option or a combination.

How many sessions will I need?

Most body skin concerns need about three to five sessions spaced around four weeks apart. Results build gradually over several months, and some patients choose maintenance sessions afterwards.

Is there downtime?

Downtime ranges from almost none for some boosters to about two to five days of redness and small marks after laser or microneedling. Treated areas are usually covered by clothing, which helps for work and travel.

Is it safe for darker skin?

Yes, with appropriate settings. Darker skin has a higher risk of post-inflammatory pigmentation, so your dermatologist may use more conservative energy, longer intervals and pre- and post-care to reduce that risk.

Can I combine body skin treatments with body contouring?

Often yes. Many patients treat shape and skin quality in the same plan, for example fat reduction followed by skin tightening or stretch mark treatment. Your doctor will sequence them safely.
